Espresso

Cappuccino

Caffe Americano
The name draws inspiration from American soldiers who, during the Second World War, made this type of coffee to make their beverages last longer. It was later adopted by American baristas. All you have to do to make this coffee is add hot water to a shot of espresso coffee and you’re good to go.
Café au lait or Café latte
Simple and quite popular, this drink is basically what the name says: coffee with milk. There are several variations of it throughout Europe and in the USA, but homemade café au lait is easy to make. It is made by adding a shot of dark coffee – usually espresso – to heated milk.
Turkish coffee
This variety is a strong brew served with the grounds in the cup, using a very fine blend of coffee. It is generally boiled in a small copper pot known as an ibrek. The result is a very strong cup of coffee, which can serve you well if you need to wake up in a hurry.
