Innovation Amidst Challenges
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Something’s Brewing was launched, an e-commerce platform that empowered home brewers, connecting them with tools, resources, and local roasters to sustain their coffee passion.
2021
Kaapi Bean Collective
We launched the Kaapi Bean Collective, fostering connections through ‘Origin Stories’ events and celebrating barista artistry with the Latte Art Throwdown across 22 cities. We introduced IoT-enabled coffee machines for contactless brewing.
2022-23
Celebrating Coffee Culture
The 2022 Mumbai Coffee Festival welcomed 25,000+ attendees, highlighting India’s evolving coffee culture. In 2023, India’s Latte Art Championship fostered creativity, collaboration, and excellence in barista craftsmanship. In response to the new BIS standards in India, our Kaapi Lab now supports local compliance requirements by assisting in local product testing, assembly and other initiatives. The goal is to assist global brands with a deeper local expertise as well as utilize the space as a service and technical training centre.

The 3rd National Latte Art Championship showcased barista talent nationally, recognising those shaping India’s coffee culture. Industry collaborations introduced innovative coffee setups and expanded service networks to support local cafés.
